Assembly Electrician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembly Line Electrician to install, wire, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems and components on an assembly line. This role plays a critical part in ensuring equipment is built to specification, operates safely, and meets quality standards. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Install, wire, and assemble electrical components, control panels, and systems according to schematics, blueprints, and work instructions Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation Perform electrical testing, inspections, and troubleshooting to ensure proper functionality Identify and correct wiring issues, component failures, or assembly defects Follow all safety procedures, electrical codes, and company quality standards Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and other assembly team members to resolve technical issues Document work performed, including test results and any required modifications Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work area Support continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process or efficiency improvements Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training preferred Proven experience as an electrician in a manufacturing or assembly line environment Strong understanding of electrical systems, components, and industrial controls Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment Knowledge of OSHA regulations and electrical safety standards Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks Preferred Skills Experience with PLCs, control panels, or automation systems Troubleshooting experience in a production or industrial setting Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment Manufacturing/production floor May require standing, bending, lifting, and working around moving equipment Use of PPE as required
