Are you with us?!? We are seeking a Production Manager for our Paper Mill to join our Mosinee, WI team! As the Production Manager you willlead the safe and continuous operations for our M1 & M2 machines to ensure production meets all safety, health, hygiene, environmental, quality and efficiency standards. Key Responsibilities Follow up on all safety and property damage incidents reported on shift and document Perform safety audits as required Ensure a clean, neat, and organized workplace following all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and BRC Policies Perform BRC/GMP audits for team member compliance Follow up on corrective actions or training from internal or external quality losses with the crews Review cost of raw materials and try to minimize chemical costs and maximize broke if customer specifications are being met Follow up with each person training on your crews to ensure they have the necessary materials and are supported to be successful in their new role each time. Research, write and follow up on maintenance work requests. Machine Issues, Shift-hand Off and Crew/Personnel Concerns Understand all the tools to check operations, correct operator errors and check efficiencies (Proficy, PARCview, JDE, Reports Now, SharePoint, etc.) Participate in maintenance down days, Product Development trials, Kaizen events, Capital installation, etc. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience. 10+ years' experience in Paper Machine Operations. Good written and verbal communication skills as well as teamwork skills Knowledge of MS Office Proven leadership record of accomplishment of directing others. Demonstrated ability to establish and meet budget. Advocate and champion for Maintenance Best Practices (MBP) Strong troubleshooting skills and high mechanical aptitude Ability to manage and prioritize multiple critical assignments simultaneously. Comfortable working in a union environment. The flexibility to work additional hours during the week, on weekends, or outside of regular office hours as needed.
