Job Title: Biopharmaceutical Processing Technician (Upstream)Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Biopharmaceutical Processing Technician to join our team for shift rotations. The candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the operations involved in the manufacturing of Commercial and Clinical Biologics. This position requires adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and involves a variety of functions related to Upstream cell culture processes.Responsibilities Execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a focus on 'right the first time' practices. Assist in maintaining suite, supplies, equipment, logbooks, and data in accordance with site SOPs and policies. Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements, including daily record reviews and database management. Participate and lead in shift exchanges and meetings to facilitate area needs. Support quality investigations by providing answers and suggestions for improvements. Promote and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines. Critically evaluate processes, demonstrating foresight and proactive thinking. Prioritize and interpret production schedules to complete tasks efficiently. Essential Skills Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, production, or lab settings. Knowledge of cGMP practices and aseptic techniques. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English. Additional Skills & Qualifications BS Degree in a STEM-related field is preferred. Subject Matter Expertise in upstream processing steps is a plus. Ability to recognize and address developing problems. Physical ability to lift a minimum of 25 lbs independently and stand for 80% of the shift. Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a cleanroom environment with aseptic suites, requiring full gowning including bodysuit, gloves, hair & beard nets, face covers, and safety glasses. Makeup, jewelry, nail polish, cologne/perfume, scented lotions, or hair care products are prohibited.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Louis, MO.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $32.20 - $32.20/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
