DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Owner's Representative / Field Representative / Project Manager to support a $4M greenfield construction project for VinFast, a Vietnamese automotive manufacturer. This role will serve as the Owner's on-site representative, ensuring construction activities align with approved schedules, budgets, quality standards, and design intent.The individual will work closely with the Construction Manager and project stakeholders, providing daily oversight, reviewing design documents, monitoring quality, and driving issue resolution throughout the life of the project.Key Responsibilities-Serve as the Owner's on-site representative throughout construction-Interface daily with the Construction Manager and contractor teams-Track and follow construction schedules and ensure adherence to approved budgets-Review architectural and engineering designs for constructability and compliance-Monitor construction quality and ensure alignment with project requirements-Identify risks, deficiencies, or deviations and implement corrective actions-Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates-Support overall execution of a ground-up, greenfield construction projectMust Have:-10-15 years of experience as a Project Manager, Owner's Representative, Field Representative, or related construction leadership role-Proven experience on ground-up / greenfield / vertical construction projects-Experience within automotive, industrial manufacturing, pharma, plant, or energy center projects-Strong understanding of construction schedules, budgets, and quality control-Experience interfacing daily with Construction Managers and contractors-Ability to review architectural and engineering designs-Demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement corrective actions-Excellent verbal and written communication skills as customer is internationalAdditional Skills & QualificationsBonus:-Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred)-MEP experience within automotive or industrial manufacturing environments-Prior experience supporting automotive OEM or EV manufacturing projects-Experience with large-scale industrial capital projects ($MM+)-Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook; Project a plus)Experience LevelExpert LevelJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Detroit, MI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $67.00 - $77.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
