As the unit manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the Medical-Surgical and Telemetry units, ensuring compliance with quality standards while fostering a collaborative team environment. Job specification Candidate requirements Job specification Provide clinical and operational leadership for the Med/Surg/Telemetry departments. Supervise nursing staff, manage scheduling, and oversee patient care delivery. Promote high-quality patient outcomes by developing and implementing best practices. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care across services. Ensure compliance with licensing regulations, hospital policies, and accreditation standards. Identify staff development needs and provide or coordinate appropriate education and training. Participate in budgeting, resource allocation, and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in clinical and administrative tasks. Candidate requirements Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field from an accredited college or university (required). Master's degree in Nursing or a related field (preferred). Current California RN License BLS and ACLS certifications - American Heart Association (required) Basic EKG/telemetry interpretation skills or successful completion of an EKG course within 6 months of hire Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a Med/Surg or Telemetry department Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience in a department-specific role (preferred) Why work with us?
