Position Summary: We are seeking Summer Industrial Estimating Interns who are detail-oriented, organized, and eager to learn. This role offers hands-on experience in estimating for industrial water and wastewater piping systems. Responsibilities:Gain proficiency in interpreting construction drawings, with a focus on material and scope identification for project estimation. Performed detailed take-offs for the following components: Doors, overhead doors, and windows Painted and coated surfaces, including calculation of square footage Bathroom accessories Furnishings and miscellaneous accessories Interpret plan and section views of construction drawings. Organize bid documents, including specifications and drawings. Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to solicit pricing. Collaborate with the estimating team to clarify scope and requirements. Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. High school diploma or equivalent experience. General understanding of wastewater, landfill, and industrial applications. Ability to read specifications and perform quantity takeoffs. Basic proficiency in Bluebeam (preferred), Microsoft Excel, and Word. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
