Job Details — Travel RN ICU in Seguin, TX Location: Seguin, TX 78155 (Seguin ICU jobs / Texas nursing jobs) Setting: Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Assignment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN) Start Date: February 28, 2026 End Date: April 25, 2026 Duration: 8 weeks Shift: 12-Hour Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 shifts per week Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Weekend/Holiday Requirement: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Estimated Weekly Salary: $1680-$1770/week Job Requirements — ICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-appropriate compact license or state licensure) Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required (Critical Care RN / ICU RN) Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required; PALS preferred (may be obtained on-site if available) Ability to float to Medical, Surgical, IPRU, and ER units as needed Proficiency with MediTech Expanse EMR preferred Experience with Pyxis medication systems preferred Strong critical thinking, independent practice skills, and effective communication in multidisciplinary teams Responsibilities — Critical Care RN Duties Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill adult and occasional pediatric patients in a 9-bed ICU (ICU nursing, critical care nursing) Manage patient assignments typically at a 1:2 ratio, with occasional 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity and census Administer and monitor continuous drips, titratable medications, and ventilator support (Avea ventilators) Provide care for post-cath lab, cardiac, respiratory, and medically complex patients Collaborate with hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, and the broader clinical team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes Float to Medical, Surgical, IPRU, and ER units as needed while maintaining safe, effective nursing care Accurately document patient care using MediTech Expanse and Pyxis systems Participate in department orientation, continuing education, and professional development opportunities Join our healthcare team today — Apply now for this Travel RN ICU opportunity in Seguin, TX.
