Job Purpose: - The BA Behavioral Specialist at LIFESTREAM BEHAVIORAL CENTER is responsible for providing comprehensive behavioral assessments and interventions. The role focuses on developing and implementing behavior support plans to enhance the quality of life for individuals with behavioral challenges. The specialist will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of effective, evidence-based practices tailored to each individual's needs. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct thorough behavioral assessments using standardized tools and methodologies. - Develop individualized behavior support plans based on assessment findings. - Implement and monitor behavior intervention strategies to ensure effectiveness. - Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to support the implementation of behavior plans. - Provide training and support to staff and caregivers on behavior management techniques. - Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress. - Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive care plans. - Stay updated with the latest research and best practices in behavioral analysis and intervention. - Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and ethical standards in behavioral practice. Required Education: - Bachelor's Degree Required Required Experience: - Two years' experience working in the substance abuse or related field Required Skills and Abilities: - Strong understanding of behavioral assessment and intervention strategies. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously. - Proficient in data collection and analysis to monitor client progress. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt interventions to meet individual client needs. - Familiarity with relevant laws and ethical guidelines in behavioral health practice.
