Job Description

Role Title: ETL Developer Location: Mechanicsburg, PA 17050 Duration: 6 monthsRequired Skills: • Strong hands on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or IDClient • Solid understanding of ETL architecture and data warehousing concepts • Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting • Experience supporting production ETL environments • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross functional teams" Preferred Skills: • Experience with large scale or public sector data platforms • Familiarity with Oracle and/or SQL Server • Experience in regulated or compliance driven environments • Prior experience with batch scheduling and monitoring tools" Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and IDClient to support enterprise data warehouse and analytics solutions. • Analyze source system data and technical specifications to implement data integration and transformation logic. • Develop and support Informatica mappings, workflows, sessions, and parameter files, ensuring performance and stability. • Implement data validation, transformation rules, and data quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency. • Support loading of fact and dimension tables, including handling of default values, surrogate keys, and historical data. • Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and production support, including troubleshooting ETL failures and data discrepancies. • Support deployment activities across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD environments, including monitoring and post deployment validation. • Tune ETL jobs for performance, including SQL optimization, partitioning, and workflow tuning. • Maintain ETL design documentation and operational runbooks. • Collaborate with database and infrastructure teams to support data retention, purge strategies, and dependency management. • Follow established change management, security, and release processes."
