Position: Pre-Construction CoordinatorSummary: The Preconstruction Coordinator supports project managers, designers, engineers, and field personnel by transforming technical inputs into accurate, field-ready reports and presentation drawings. This role prepares documentation representing multiple building systems-HVAC, plumbing, piping, and electrical controls-using blueprints, models, manufacturer data, and verbal guidance. The Preconstruction Coordinator performs detailed calculations, researches technical references, and produces drawings that help ensure project teams have the information needed to execute work efficiently. The position operates with moderate supervision and also supports various administrative or project-related tasks as needed. This is a Full-Time on site role.Key Responsibilities: • Convert information from designers, engineers, and sales personnel into clear, field-ready reports and presentation drawings. • Interpret blueprints, models, manufacturer submittals, and verbal instructions to create accurate views, details, and supporting documentation. • Prepare and plot working drawings, reports, and copies for field and project teams. • Conduct mathematical calculations and technical research using manufacturer catalogs and industry guides. • Assist with resolving drafting or documentation issues with moderate supervision. • Support project managers and field personnel with miscellaneous tasks as assigned. • Demonstrate proficiency in the company's computer hardware and software tools. • Collaborate effectively in a team environment. • Develop familiarity with mechanical systems and the drawings, documents, and symbols used to depict them. • Perform additional duties as assigned to support preconstruction and field operations. Qualifications Experience working with technical drawings, blueprints, or construction documents preferred. Proficiency with computer hardware and software commonly used for drafting, technical documentation, or project coordination. Ability to interpret mechanical system layouts (HVAC, plumbing, piping, electrical controls) or willingness to learn these systems. Strong mathematical and analytical skills for technical calculations. Ability to conduct research using technical manuals, manufacturer catalogs, and industry guides. Strong teamwork and communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments. Ability to work with moderate supervision and proactively resolve issues.
