Only one position will be filled, and we welcome applications for either position; final title and compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated interest in affordable housing development and will preferably be well-connected with the affordable housing community in the Seattle area. Associate Project Developer I Summary & Duties The Associate Project Developer supports multiple development projects by leading discrete project components, coordinating consultants and vendors, preparing funding applications, and overseeing financial processing during construction and closing phases. This role focuses on execution and milestone achievement, and cross-team coordination under the guidance of senior development staff. Serve in both support and lead roles for discrete project management tasks across multiple pipeline development projects. Coordinate project activities and objectives with contractors, consultants, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Support real estate pipeline efforts, including site selection, zoning analysis, feasibility studies, market analysis, preparation of preliminary project budgets, and responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs). Prepare and submit funding applications to public funders and assist during underwriting, due diligence, and project closings, including coordination of third-party consultant reports. Manage construction draws, invoices, and the disbursement of project funds and awards during closing and construction phases. Prepare draw requests, supporting documentation, and monthly reporting to financing partners. Perform other duties as assigned. Perform other duties as assigned. Project Developer I Summary & Duties The Project Developer I serves as the lead project manager for two or more active development projects or major aspects of multiple projects, overseeing all aspects of feasibility, financing, design coordination, budget management, and project approvals. This role carries primary responsibility for advancing projects through the full development lifecycle and resolving complex internal and external issues. Serve in a lead role providing project management for two or more active development projects. Prepare funding applications and navigate internal approvals and design processes; proactively engage and resolve issues with internal and external stakeholders. Conduct feasibility and project analyses in response to project criteria and RFPs, including assessment of community needs, project risks, rehabilitation scope, target population, financial feasibility, and alignment with community plans. Track project budgets and contingencies; in consultation with the Director or Associate Director, provide design and value engineering recommendations as needed. Support project closings and conversions by completing tasks required to secure all necessary approvals. Coordinate ongoing collaboration among architects, contractors, and other members of the development team. Perform other duties as assigned.
