Our fast-paced, high energy fun environment relies on teamwork and great customer service to deliver unforgettable tournament experiences. Position Summary: As a Game Changer Operator, you will play a pivotal role in assisting with tournament operations for the Ripken National Qualifier event held at The Ripken Experience™ Aberdeen. You will serve as the head Game Changer Operator for a field during the weekend of April 10-12, 2026. Games will begin as early as 12:00pm on April 10, 2026, and you must be available for all three days of the event. Key Responsibilities: Serve as the head operator of Game Changer for your assigned field for the duration of the Ripken National Qualifier Input lineups for both teams for all games at your assigned field Manage game play, outcomes, and lineup changes for both teams at your assigned field Ensure accurate score, accurate counts per at bat, and accurate play outcomes High attention to detail Adhere to the Ripken values and brand standards, ensuring a consistent representation of excellence Maintain a high level of professionalism while providing extraordinary customer service Demonstrate a proactive approach to learning, displaying initiative, desire, and determination to champion the values associated with the Ripken name and brand Work with staff to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently, while providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for participants Be considered to work other Ripken Baseball events in the future, based on performance Qualifications: Required: Previous Game Changer experience, ability and willingness to physically perform all job responsibilities, availability and ability for on-site work in Aberdeen, MD, and ability to work all dates and times. Preferred: Prior work experience in a customer service environment, previous experience within the sports sector, genuine passion for sports, with a particular emphasis on baseball/softball.
