The Paint Prep Worker will be responsible for prepping material to be painted using various methods and tools. The ideal candidate will have painting, paint prep and general metal working shop experience, knowledge of measuring devices, and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Additional skills and experience in mechanical, hydraulic, plumbing, welding, fabrication and electrical wiring are valued. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Use grinders, sanding equipment, overhead crane, ban saw, drill press, hand tools, etc., to ensure quality finished product. Operate equipment and tools safely and efficiently. Ensure quality and precision in all fabricated components. Collaborate with the team to identify and resolve any issues or challenges. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Some heavy lifting. Skills and Knowledge: Knowledge of painting and tools. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision is a must. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Ability to work Monday through Friday, 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility for overtime as needed.
