Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field. Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program. Certifications Required Current certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.
