Construction Project Manager Onsite

Responsibilities Kfore's client in Fremont, CA is looking for several contract Construction Managers at various levels. The client will interview and hire immediately. The initial contract is 3 to 6 months.Key Tasks: Successfully deliver large, design build, and self-performed construction projects Ensure on time, or ahead of time delivery of construction projects, enabling your teams to solve problems and prioritize execution Promote a safe and quality driven culture, both project and companywide Employ a can-do attitude, ensuring all stakeholders are engaged and aligned to the project's goals Provide the best product for your respective project's customer or end users, keeping projects moving forward and fixing concerns as they arise Track and understand all project costs at a fundamental level, challenging design revision, RFIs and change orders to ensure the company receives the best value Write detailed and thorough bid packages, clear communication expectations to bidders, and validating contractors are qualified to execute the scope Work within a high-performance, cross-functional organization with extremely tight timelines Special duties and projects, as assigned or necessary including coverage of other coordinators Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities Develop execution plans/schedules Ensure frequent communication with key project individuals and job site personnel Drive the project schedule and elevate construction issues to upper management Develop and communicate logistics and other operational plans necessary Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and enforcing the applicable state and OSHA regulations Schedule and lead quality control and site safety inspections Skills OSHA 10 certified (OSHA 30 is a plus) Bluebeam P6 Microsoft Projects Excel Safety is extremely important Strong MEP experience - no preference on discipline Ability to read schedules and understand the next day Brownfield experience Ability/experience with working on a project and keep the adjacent areas operating Backgrounds: Hospitals, airports, laboratories, research facilities Demo experience is strongly preferred Tenant fit outs and demo preferred Shutdown experience preferred; Oil refinery background with 2-week shut down experience and able to complete in the two weeks for example The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
