Job description Schedule:Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 1st Shift (Morning hours) North State Security Group is seeking a dependable and professionalArmed Security Officerfor a full-time first shift position, Monday through Friday. Important:Only applicants with active and valid Armed Guard credentials will be considered.Position Type:Full-Time Shift:1st Shift (exact hours provided during interview) Job Summary:The Armed Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment through a visible armed presence, routine patrols, and immediate response to incidents in compliance with company policy and state regulations. Responsibilities:Provide a visible armed security presence Conduct foot and/or vehicle patrols Monitor property for suspicious activity and safety hazards Enforce post orders, site rules, and company policies Respond professionally to emergencies and incidents Complete accurate daily activity and incident reports Maintain firearm safety and proper weapon handling at all times Interact professionally with clients, staff, and visitors Requirements:Active and valid Armed Guard Card required (no exceptions)Valid firearm registration and current qualification Must meet state age requirements for armed officers Reliable transportation Strong communication and observation skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Must pass background screening, drug test, and any client-specific checks Preferred Qualifications:Prior armed security experience Law enforcement or military background Experience with access control systems and reporting platforms How to Apply:Submit your resume along with proof of your active Armed Guard Card and firearm credentials.
