Family Medicine / Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) - Outpatient Primary Care | Full-Time | Sacramento, CA A well-established outpatient community health clinic is seeking a Family Medicine Physician or Internal Medicine Physician (MD/DO) to join a collaborative primary care team. This role is ideal for a provider who is comfortable managing a busy outpatient schedule while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities • Provide outpatient primary care services to adult patients • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical conditions • Perform physical exams, preventive screenings, and health risk assessments • Order and interpret labs and diagnostic studies • Prescribe medications and coordinate care with specialists as needed • Manage patient communication and results through the EMR • Maintain productivity and quality standards while ensuring excellent patient care • Work closely with clinical and support staff to ensure continuity of care Required Qualifications • MD or DO (U.S. accredited or FMG with ECFMG/Fifth Pathway certification) • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine • Active, unrestricted California medical license • Active DEA registration • Current CPR certification Preferred • 1-2+ years of outpatient primary care experience (community health/FQHC preferred) • Experience working with underserved populations • EPIC EMR experience is a plus • Strong comfort with inbox management and a fast-paced outpatient workflow Benefits (Highlights) • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Retirement plan with employer match • Paid time off + paid holidays • CME reimbursement + CME paid time • Malpractice and tail coverage • Tuition reimbursement (based on eligibility)
