Description: All requirements listed in the job description and submittal requirements are non-negotiable. Day shift consists of three 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM. A minimum of 18 months of recent Medical/Surgical Telemetry experience is required. Must have 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel. An active permanent Ohio license is required upon submission. Compact licenses are accepted for any starts on or after January 1, 2023. Two references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying for are required to qualify for submission. Please note that co-worker references will not be considered. References must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months. All required certifications must be active with nothing pending. Travelers will receive two attempts maximum to pass required tests, otherwise, the assignment will be canceled. Background checks will be reviewed, and travelers will not be accepted with an open case. Nurses and CSTs are currently exempt from nicotine free facility requirements. Other travelers must be nicotine free and must provide a negative drug screen within 12 months of start. Candidates must complete required prints within 48 hours of signing the contract. Extensions may occur for a period of 18 months, followed by a 6-month break unless deferred on a case-by-case basis. Modules are completed pre-start and annually, and average time needed varies by specialty.
