Banner Technology Product Owner Location: Remote (potential occasional onsite in Columbia, MD) Contract Duration: 6+ months (long-term contract) About the Role: We are thrilled to announce two exciting openings for the position of Banner Technology Product Owner. This role offers the flexibility of working remotely, with the potential for occasional onsite visits in Columbia, MD. We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals who are passionate about enhancing the student experience through innovative technology solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage various impactful projects Oversee and streamline auto registration processes Optimize financial aid systems for better efficiency Plan and manage degree programs effectively Enhance the overall student experience, particularly in financial aid Required Skills: Expertise in Banner for registration and degree planning (Degree Works preferred) Proficiency in Banner AR (Accounts Receivable) Strong knowledge of financial aid systems Excellent interpersonal skills with a high level of enthusiasm Ability to collaborate effectively and assertively when needed Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor's degree in a related field 3-5+ years of relevant experience Required Skills : Experience working with financial aid systems in higher education (Banner AR/Banner preferred) Equal front-end and back-end experience, implementing Degree Planning platforms (DegreeWorks preferred) Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Background Check : Yes Drug Screen : Yes Notes : Selling points for candidate : Project Verification Info :The information provided below is for Apex Systems AV use only and is not to be distributed publicly, or to any third party.
