Job Title: Global Trade Operations Specialist Location: Centennial, CO 80112 Duration: 12 Months (Contract) Work Arrangement: Onsite in Centennial, CO - Minimal local travel required Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Global Trade Operations Specialist to support export compliance activities, ensuring alignment with U.S. Government (USG) regulations, particularly ITAR. This position plays a critical role in maintaining regulatory compliance for international programs and partnerships. Key Responsibilities: Evaluate and determine technical data classifications and approve proposed exports under applicable USG authorizations Interpret and apply ITAR regulations to technically complex scenarios involving controlled data and hardware Develop compliance guidance and establish rules of engagement for international collaboration projects Provide training and respond to internal inquiries related to U.S. export regulations, authorizations, and control plans Maintain and manage export documentation and records in full compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with engineering and program teams; a solid understanding of launch vehicle hardware is preferred Required Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution Basic Qualifications: Proficiency in analyzing and handling ITAR-regulated technical data and hardware Strong verbal and written communication skills Proven ability to collaborate across teams and maintain attention to detail Experience working with export controls, compliance documentation, and technical data assessments Preferred Qualifications: Background that combines engineering and regulatory compliance Experience within the aerospace or defense industry highly preferred
