MEP Electrical Engineer St. Louis, MO | Mechanical, Electrical, PlumbingFull-TimeSalary: $100-165K DOE About the Role Are you an experienced MEP Electrical Engineer looking to work on meaningful, technically complex projects while continuing to grow your career? Our client is seeking a skilled MEP Electrical Engineer to join a collaborative team of engineers and designers supporting a wide range of building and campus projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated electrical systems while contributing to a company culture that values expertise, teamwork, and professional development. What You'll Do In this role, you'll be responsible for the electrical engineering design and execution of projects from concept through construction, including: Work with clients on electrical systems such as power service and distribution, branch circuits, interior and exterior lighting, lighting controls, fire alarm systems, telecom/data infrastructure, audio/visual systems, and other electrical and control systems Develop construction documents, including drawings and specifications Advise clients on electrical system options that meet project needs and comply with applicable codes Serve as a lead electrical engineer on projects, directing work for designers, drafters, and apprentice-level engineers Perform field inspections to assess existing conditions and define project requirements Coordinate effectively with internal teams and external consultants Solve complex engineering challenges with minimal oversight Support construction teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs Manage electrical discipline project activities, including budget review, schedule updates, and project documentation What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an accredited university or equivalent experience Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred 7+ years of electrical engineering design experience, ideally focused on commercial, institutional, or healthcare facilities with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.
