Emergency Room RN - Travel Contract | Ithaca, NY Nurse's Etc. Staffing, a proud veteran and minority-owned healthcare staffing agency, is seeking experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for an exciting travel contract opportunity. Assignment Details: Location : Ithaca, New York Duration : 13 weeks Weekly Hours : 36 Shift Details : 12H, Must be able to work either mid or night shift Weekend Requirements : Every 3rd weekend On Call Requirements : None Pay: $2,540 ($972 taxable + $1,568 stipend) Unit Information: 21 monitored beds, 5 psych safe treatment rooms, and 3 hall beds that are routinely used = 29 beds. Ratio: 4-5:1 depending on acuity. The department has a dedicated case manager and social worker during business hours 7 days per week. The Crisis Evaluators are ED personnel that do mental health evaluations. ED techs are staffed and trained in phlebotomy, EKGs, patient safety observation, etc. Provider staffing includes 3 MDs and 2 PAs working each 24hour period. Chest pain accredited organization and a primary stroke center Requirements: 2+ years of related recent experience At least 1 travel contract completed Active NY state license Certifications: BLS Benefits (may vary by assignment): Referral bonuses, up to $1000 per referral Certification Reimbursement License Reimbursement Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Local and travel assignments available Nationwide presence with boutique customer service and dedicated recruiter.
