Position Summary: The parttime Physician plays a vital role in delivering affirming, evidencebased primary care to patients in Monmouth County, NJ. Working within our Asbury Park health center, this position supports both the LGBTQ+ Center for Health and Wellness-our hub for inclusive primary and specialty services-and the Ryan White Part C Program, which provides comprehensive HIV primary care and support services. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Supports organization's mission by striving for excellence in all aspects of their job with a focus on positive interpersonal relationships with colleagues up, down, and across the organization Provides direct patient-centered services to primary care patients at the identified location(s) within established productivity guidelines Maintains complete patient records using the Electronic Health Record and complies with all requirements for billing, coding, and reporting Maintains a clinic panel of people living with HIV and other patients appropriate to ongoing infectious disease oversight Prescribes or administers medication, therapy and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease or injury Prescribes and manages gender affirming hormone therapy for transgender patients Provides health and wellness advice; orders age-appropriate screenings, immunizes patients against preventable diseases Ensures compliance with the New Jersey Department of Health Ambulatory Care Regulations for Licensure as well as requirements of other licensing and accrediting bodies, health maintenance organizations and insurance carriers Collaborates in team-based care in the Patient Centered Medical Home model Participates in Peer Review and other Quality Improvement activities Collaborates in the provision of in-service education for staff Adheres to CHC infection control and safety policies, as well as guidelines of regulatory agencies Participates in community outreach programs regarding CHC services and programs as needed Omission of specific duties does not exclude them from this position if the work is similar, related or a logical assignment for this position Job Competencies & Minimum Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical or osteopathic school with MD, DO or equivalent degree. Successful completion of accredited Residency program. Community health or infectious disease experience is preferred. Unrestricted New Jersey Physician License Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Active CDS and DEA registration Valid NJ driver's license Experience in treatment of people living with HIV Knowledge of current HIV treatments AAHIVS certification is a plus Working Conditions/Physical Demand: Working indoors. Exposure to blood, body fluids and communicable diseases. Sitting, fine motor hand movement, standing, walking, lifting 40 pounds, pushing, reaching, pulling #LI-AD1 - In compliance with New Jersey's Pay Transparency Act, the total compensation range for this position is USD $200,000.00 to USD $$296,000.00. When determining an offer, VNA Health Group considers factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's work experience, education/training, relevant skills, internal pay equity, and market and organizational conditions.
