Mortgage Underwriter

Job Summary: We are hiring a Mortgage Underwriter to review and underwrite residential loan files with a strong focus on loan servicing, loss mitigation, and payment analysis . This role involves working with ctive loans to assess risk, resolve delinquencies, and support default management strategies. Key Responsibilities: Review and underwrite loan modification, forbearance, and loss mitigation files Evaluate borrower financials for active loans and determine appropriate servicing solutions Monitor payment history and assess risk on delinquent or non-performing loans Ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines (FHA, Client, Freddie Mac) Collaborate with servicing, collections, and legal teams to resolve loan issues Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the loan lifecycle Qualifications: 2+ years of mortgage underwriting or loan servicing experience Knowledge of loss mitigation programs , servicing guidelines, and payment processing Familiarity with FHA, VA, Client, and Freddie Mac rules Strong analytical and decision-making skills Experience with LOS and servicing platforms Diverse Lynx LLC is an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
