The role includes relocation assistance and a sign-on bonus of up to $15,000. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, supervision, and direction for nursing staff in the Med Surg unit. Collaborate with physicians, directors, and healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care. Assign and manage staff based on patient needs and competencies. Conduct staff evaluations, resolve conflicts, and enforce compliance with hospital policies. Monitor unit performance, quality measures, and patient outcomes. Maintain strong communication channels with staff, physicians, and leadership. Step in as a hands-on leader when direct patient care support is needed. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas (or compact state). BSN from an accredited nursing school (required). Current BLS certification. 2+ years of healthcare experience (leadership experience preferred). Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
