As a home health nurse at the University of Vermont Health - Home Health and Hospice, you'll work alongside a diverse, supportive team of nurses, physicians, and specialty practitioners who truly care about their patients and their community ?. Our full-time positions are Monday - Friday, 8 am - 4:30 pm, which is amazing schedule for parents or those who want work/life balance. There is one rotating weekend day every 5-6 weeks, but you will not work one of the weekdays those weeks. Our Community Health Nurses provide skilled, compassionate care to patients in their homes-helping individuals remain where they feel most comfortable ?. We work to the top of our licensure and collaborate closely within a comprehensive, interdisciplinary team that includes: Registered Nurses (RNs) ? Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) Physical Therapists (PTs) Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) Social Workers Dedicated Administrative Support Together, we ensure each patient receives the highest level of personalized, at-home care. Qualifications 1+ year of home health or public health nursing experience preferred, OR a combination of education and experience that provides comparable skills Home care experience is helpful but not required-we will happily train motivated candidates who are eager to learn ?
