Dover Department of Special Services is currently accepting applications for the position of an Special Education Department Behaviorist (BCBA). The individual should have experience with students with Emotional Regulation Impairment, Autism Spectrum Disorder, challenges with self-regulation, and varying learning and language abilities. Responsibilities include creation of and/or implementation of: Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA), Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA), Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIP), Class-wide behavior management systems, and various data collection strategies. The individual will be asked to work with and train teachers and support staff in both self-contained and general education classrooms to implement strategies to meet the needs of students. BEHAVIORIST (BCBA) DISTRICT / NORTH DOVER ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 2025-2026 Qualifications BCBA certified or documentation of completed coursework to obtain BCBA certification A valid New Jersey Teacher of the Handicap Certificate or Teacher of Students with Disabilities, School Social Worker, School Psychologist or School Counselor certificate. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Compensation: In accordance with the established DEA Salary Guide currently ranging from $60,615 - $99,985.
