License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist Certification (BLS, ACLS, ARRT-R or equivalent OR RCIS is required; RCES preferred). Must-Have: Scrub experience in Electrophysiology, ability to circulate, document, and manage hemodynamics. Proficient in airway management during sedation and arterial/venous sheath management. Description: RN position focused on Electrophysiology procedures. The facility has an average of 15-20 cases per day. The role requires experience in scrubbing various Electrophysiology procedures. Patient types include those with cardiac arrhythmias and other electrophysiology-related diagnoses. Skills required include: - Moderate sedation - Isuprel drips - Cardioversions - Documentation and sterile technique - Use of X-ray equipment - 3D mapping - Radiation safety - Cardiovascular invasive procedures Support is provided by physicians, fellows, teammates, vendors, leadership, and anesthesia. Technology used includes EPIC for electronic medical records and specialized electrophysiology equipment. The department values a patient-focused and team-oriented culture, emphasizing excellence and inclusivity. Weekend rotation involves working 3-4 Saturdays in an 8-10 week period. No call requirements except for select holidays. Shift scheduling follows a 10-hour shift system from 0600 to 1900. The department is closed on specified holidays.
