Line Lead/Machine Operator Highlights: Schedule: 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:00pm Monday-Friday) or 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:00am Sunday-Thursday) Pay: $18.50-19.50 per hour, depending on experience and shift Opportunity for cross training and advancement Supportive team that values safety, quality, and hard work Line Lead Machine Operator Job Summary: The Line Lead is responsible for overseeing daily production line activities, training team members, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role combines machine operation and hands-on production work with leadership duties. Line Lead Machine Operator Responsibilities: Train and guide line workers on procedures and safety protocols Operate rewinder and other machines and rotate staff as needed Accurately track materials and production data using Nulogy ERP system Perform quality checks, monitor efficiency, and report production issues Encourage a positive, team-oriented work culture Line Lead Machine Operator Requirements: 2+ years of manufacturing experience required, paper converting preferred Leadership experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Positive attitude with the ability to handle conflict professionally Willingness to work on the line and lead by example Line Lead Machine Operator Skills: Mechanical aptitude and hands-on production experience, paper converting preferred Organized and proactive Ability to multitask in a loud, fast-paced environment Physical Requirements: Must regularly lift and move up to 25lbs, occasionally up to 50lbs Standing, bending, reaching, and manual handling throughout the shift Comfortable working around machinery, with exposure to noise and some dust Express Associate Benefits: Fixed Indemnity Medical, Dental, and Vision Coverage 401(k) Retirement Plan Free Training, Scholarship Opportunities, and Employee Assistance Program.
