DetailsClient Name Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Job Type Travel Offering Nursing Profession Registered Nurse (RN) Specialty Clinic Job ID 35994288 Job Title Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinic Weekly Pay $2195.0 Shift DetailsShift Days - 5 x 8 Scheduled Hours 40 Job Order DetailsStart Date 03/30/2026 End Date 06/29/2026 Duration 13 Week(s) Job Description ROLE - SPECIALTY Ambulatory Oncology RN - Oncology SCHEDULE Shift: 5x8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (start/end times may vary by department needs) REQUIREMENTS - License: Active California RN license required at time of submission - Certifications: BLS required; chemotherapy certification (ONS/ONCC) and OCN preferred - Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ambulatory oncology RN experience - Clinical Knowledge: Chemotherapy administration and management - Additional Experience: Hepatobiliary and surgical experience for triage of post-op patients - EMR: Epic highly preferred ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES - Administer chemotherapy and monitor patient's response and potential complications. - Provide patient and family education regarding chemotherapy, surgery, and BMT/CAR-T. - Triage and manage chemotherapy-related complications such as extravasation, anaphylaxis, and sepsis. - Assist in minor surgical procedures and wound care as needed. - Perform port and central line care/access/de-access and troubleshoot as necessary. - Maintain clinic flow and conduct telephone triage for patients. COMPLIANCE / NOTES - Orientation: 40 hours - Pre-approved time off: Two weeks per contract, with no RTO within the first two weeks of start.
