Position Details Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and keen observational skills. Create tailored treatment strategies that encompass both immediate goals and long-term needs regarding communication, cognition, or swallowing. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions aimed at enhancing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team comprised of physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to develop unified care plans. Provide essential education and guidance to patients and their families to promote progress beyond clinical interactions. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the therapy process. Maintain precise and timely documentation adhering to state, federal, and organizational policies. Continuously expand your knowledge of the field through ongoing education and collaborative engagement with peers. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for those who are not yet ASHA-certified. Required Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
