Position Title: CDL Truck Driver Company Name: Ducksback Inc Pay Range: $25.00-$27.00 per hour (Pay based on experience) Employment Type: Part-Time Location: Columbia, SC Industry: Asphalt Paving & Maintenance (Residential, Commercial, Industrial) Job Overview Ducksback Inc is seeking experienced CDL Class A Truck Drivers to join our Field Operations team on a part-time basis. As a key player in our asphalt paving and maintenance projects, you'll be responsible for transporting equipment and materials to job sites across the city and surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable professionals who can handle manual transmission vehicles and adapt to a flexible work schedule, including weekends. Learn more at Key Responsibilities Safely operate CDL Class A trucks with manual transmissions. Transport equipment, materials, and tools to and from various job sites. Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling and secure transport. Assist on-site crews with logistics and material delivery. Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and maintenance. Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety standards. Maintain accurate driving logs and delivery documentation. Qualifications Valid CDL Class A license with manual transmission driving capability. Minimum 2 years of driving experience preferred. Prior experience in asphalt or sealcoating environments is a plus. Must be willing and able to assist with asphalt work when not driving. Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety protocols. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, as needed. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. High school diploma or GED preferred.
