Field Engineer Job Description: Location: Norcross, Georgia 30092 Weekly Mileage: 250 - 350 Driving/Non-Driving: Driving - Candidate(s) are NOT paid to drive to and from work. All mileage during the day to work locations are reimbursed per the standard mileage. Prescreen Questions: MUST HAVE ON TOP OF EVERY RESUME 1. How many years of Computer Hardware Repair Field experience do you have? 2. Within the last 2 years how many Motherboards have you replaced? 3. Within the last 2 years how many LCD's have you replaced? 4. How many years of experience do you have diagnosing Dell laptops and PC's? 5. Are you A+ Certified? (A+ certification is required by the client. Selected candidates who do not already have their A+ certification will have 90 days after their start date to become certified, or be subject to termination.) Job Details: Candidate will be taking PC hardware break fix calls at various locations. Must have reliable transportation. Must be able to pass drug and background screening. Must be able to complete required product training. Required Skills: DELL Desktop PC, Install/Support, Expert A+ Certification (preferred) Key Responsibilities: As a Unisys Field/Computer Technician, you will be assigned service requests to repair Laptops and Desktops in the metro area. Your assignments will include repair activities such as replacing hard drives, motherboards and keyboards. You may also perform whole unit swaps, repair or replace PC peripherals. Must have reliable transportation as this role services the metro and surrounding areas.
