Position Summary The primary purpose of this position is to administrate payroll processes for the companies, assuring accuracy and confidentiality in preparing payroll checks. This position reports to the Senior Payroll Manager. A successful candidate possesses a strong work ethic, positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and respects the confidential nature of their work. Essential Functions • Perform daily payroll department operations by following policies and procedures; identifying and reporting suggestions for process improvement • Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely. • Resolve payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information. • Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports. • Process correct garnishment calculations. • Process accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end reporting when necessary. • Process off-cycle manual checks as needed. • Provide payroll information by answering questions and requests. • Research and contact appropriate audience of payroll issues. • Review audit reports to monitor accuracy of data on employees' weekly time reports and take appropriate actions. • Maintain employee confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential. Education and other Requirements • High School Diploma/GED. • At least 1 year experience of payroll processing experience. • • Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations. • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Microsoft Suite - knowledge of Paycom a plus • High degree of professionalism. • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills. • Ability to communicate with various levels of management. • Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills. #PR1
