Data Technician - High SchoolPOSITION TITLE: High School Data Technician SALARY RANGE: $14.20-$14.48/hr. CONTRACT LENGTH: Ten (10) Months IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Building Principal JOB SUMMARY: Input attendance (excused, detentions, out of school suspension (OSS), management of the 8-step data and entering absences for substitute teachers). DUTIES: Production of the following reports: Exception report, end of the day homeroom reports, detention rosters, detention reminders for students, NOW list, daily OSS spreadsheet, other reports as needed. Maintain confidentiality. Participate in professional development related to the position. Other office duties, as assigned; need a working knowledge of the student management office and attendance secretary duties. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or equivalent. Working knowledge of computers, such as AS400, PowerSchool, spreadsheets, e-mail, Word documents. Ability to work well with others within the office and the school as a whole. Above average attendance with extremely minimal tardies and absences. Good positive role model in attire and demeanor. Works in standard office and school building environments. Must be able to work regularly scheduled hours. Must be able to handle stress.
