Tool Designer 4

Our client is currently seeking a Tool Designer 4 Job Description: Lead the design and development of complex tooling and equipment to meet aerospace product design and manufacturing requirements. Conduct and facilitate design reviews, gather requirements, and create or revise technical drawings. Research and integrate robotics, automation, and emerging technologies to enhance production efficiency. Develop off-load packages, technical specifications, procurement requests, and usage documentation. Ensure designs comply with safety, manufacturability, maintainability, reliability, ergonomics, and regulatory standards. Define and validate spare parts requirements and implement best practices into standardized functional processes. Oversee the creation of inspection protocols, preventive maintenance plans, and user training materials. Provide technical guidance for engineering changes and discrepancy resolutions. Manage hardware and software configurations and recommend equipment/tooling disposition strategies. Qualifications: Proven experience in tool design and development. Strong background in robotics troubleshooting and automation systems. Proficiency in CAD software such as CATIA or Siemens NX. Education & Experience: Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and at least 3 years of relevant experience.
