The Regional Director Supply Chain leads the strategic development and operational excellence of the regional procurement and logistics functions as a leading engineering and manufacturing company delivering advanced water treatment solutions for industrial customers. Key area of responsibility is to shape a resilient, digitally enabled, and sustainable supply chain that supports growth, innovation, and ESG commitments. The Regional Director Supply Chain is responsible for regional category management, supplier relationship development, logistics optimization, and compliance with Quality, Health, Safety & Environment (QHSE) standards-while driving digital transformation and sustainable procurement practices across the entire supply chain ecosystem. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Location: Onsite; Knoxville, TN Pay Range: Dependent on Experience Benefits: Group Medical, Dental Vision, 401(k) Match, Paid Vacation, Paid Holidays, and Paid Sick Time. +Employer Paid Benefits: STD, LTD, Life AD&D Essential Duties: Strategic Supply Chain Leadership Develop and execute a future-ready regional supply chain strategy, aligning with NSI's business objectives, digital roadmap, and ESG targets. Lead strategic sourcing and category management across direct, indirect, and CAPEX spend. Ensure alignment between regional and global procurement, manufacturing, engineering, and project execution teams. Digital Transformation & Innovation Champion digital transformation across procurement and logistics using tools such as ERP, AI-driven analytics, RPA, and digital twin technology. Implement and continuously improve data-driven decision-making frameworks, real-time dashboards, and predictive analytics for demand planning and risk mitigation. Foster a culture of innovation and agility within regional supply chain operations in alignment with global supply chain operations. Regional Team Leadership Lead, coach, and inspire a remote team of procurement and logistics professionals across the region of North America. Embed a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs, continuous learning, and capability development in digital procurement and logistics. Supplier Relationship & Risk Management Build long-term strategic partnerships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with NSI's standards for quality, sustainability, and compliance. Implement a regional supplier performance and risk management framework including ESG scoring, audits, and corrective actions. Facilitate supplier innovation to support circular economy and water reuse initiatives. Identify cost reduction opportunities and drive relevant discussions to deliver the objectives. Logistics & Inventory Optimization Oversee regional logistics operations ensuring resilient, compliant, and cost-efficient movement of materials and equipment. Drive end-to-end visibility and optimization across regional inventory through digital tools and control towers. Collaborate with project and production planning to align supply chain flows with customer demand and project milestones. Sustainability & ESG Integration Embed sustainable procurement principles across all categories including lifecycle cost analysis, supplier CO₂ impact, and local sourcing. Align with NSI's sustainability goals and ensure compliance with international environmental and social governance standards. Work closely with the Sustainability and QHSE teams to improve supply chain transparency and circularity. QHSE Compliance & Governance Ensure full compliance with QHSE regulations and certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) across all procurement and logistics activities. Promote a zero-incident safety culture throughout the global supply chain. Lead audits and assessments to maintain operational excellence and continuous improvement in quality and safety performance. Other tasks as assigned. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, engineering, or a related field. Minimum 10 years of progressive leadership experience in regional supply chain, preferably in the industrial or water sector. Proven success in managing remote teams and complex supplier networks. Strong knowledge of digital supply chain tools, procurement technologies and logistics platforms. Deep understanding of QHSE standards, ethical sourcing, and sustainable supply chain practices. Excellent negotiation, stakeholder management, and change leadership skills. Requirements: Must be a US Citizen Strong ability to coach, mentor and lead people to effectively work as a Team. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (oral & written). Knowledge, understanding and application of Sourcing concepts. Proficiency in analyzing data from ERP systems, utilizing Excel. Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Focus on the customer when organizing and managing the execution of deliverables. Proven ability to work with a diverse group of people. Demonstrated ability to develop and utilize data, metrics, and continuous improvement tools to consistently achieve organizational objectives. Experience with driving change management with demonstrated ability to influence.
