Job Description: Job Title: Payroll Analyst Location: King of Prussia, PA 19406 Job Duration: 12 Months (Long-Term Contract) Work Schedule: Hybrid (2-3 days onsite per week) Position Summary: The Payroll Analyst will support the payroll operations team in processing and maintaining accurate payroll records for approximately 3,500 employees across five entities and multiple states. This role is responsible for entering and verifying employee data, ensuring accurate payroll processing, handling inquiries, and assisting in payroll compliance, tax withholding, and benefits administration. Experience with SAP, Kronos/UKG, and SuccessFactors is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Support (Primary - Approx. 80%) Process payroll changes such as banking, W-4, additional payments, and deductions. Monitor payroll bank account daily for ACH returns and direct deposit corrections; initiate reissues via wire or payroll. Reset passwords and resolve access issues for electronic pay statements and W-2 forms. Document, update, and maintain payroll procedures. Research and respond to employee payroll inquiries promptly. Review and validate Kronos non-exempt timesheets prior to payroll finalization. Track and maintain Kronos approvers and backup approvers lists. Upload and verify non-Kronos time files for payroll processing. Assist with biweekly payroll close and post-payroll reviews. Serve as backup for A/P wire transfers, payroll check processing, and unemployment compensation management. Process wire transfers for missing or final payments per state regulations. Maintain payroll vendor contacts, site contacts, and related tracking logs. Process legal and earnings verification requests (e.g., subpoenas, garnishments, global mobility). Receive and process employee repayments and departmental mail. Maintain and archive payroll records and file room. Serve as backup support for broader payroll team functions. Potential to handle more complex payroll responsibilities based on experience. Other Support (Approx. 20%) Complete employment verifications via Experian Verify. Assist with year-end checklist updates and meeting minutes. Schedule and coordinate interdepartmental payroll and HR meetings. Participate in special projects such as acquisitions, divestitures, and payroll audits. Context and Work Environment: Requires timely and accurate data entry into SAP HRMS and understanding of its impact on payroll, benefits, metrics, and reporting. Must be able to manage multiple inquiries and requests across various company departments and levels. Requires high responsiveness, organization, and prioritization in a deadline-driven environment. Required Qualifications & Experience: Education: High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum of 4 years in payroll, HR, or a corporate administrative environment. Systems Proficiency: Required: Computerized HRMS systems and data entry. Preferred: SAP HRMS, SuccessFactors, Kronos/UKG, Workday, ADP, or similar platforms. Payroll Knowledge: Multi-state payroll processing, payroll compliance, wage/tax reporting, and benefits administration. Other Skills: Familiarity with HR policies and payroll audit procedures. Experience managing high-volume employee inquiries and support requests. Key Competencies: Results-oriented with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving priorities.
