Maintenance - Drywall Finisher (RV)

We are seeking a skilled maintenance and drywall finisher to join our Maintenance team that supports a large-scale residential property portfolio consisting of approximately 1,954 occupied homes. This role is critical to maintaining high quality standards in interior wall and ceiling finishes within a fast-paced maintenance and renovation environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in craftsmanship, delivers consistent results, and understands the importance of quality work in homes occupied by people serving our country in the military and their families. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform all phases of drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, and texture matching Repair damaged drywall caused by water intrusion, wear and tear, or maintenance work Achieve smooth, paint-ready finishes that meet company and client quality standards Match existing textures and finishes across multiple home styles and ages Work efficiently in occupied homes while maintaining professionalism and cleanliness Coordinate with maintenance technicians, supervisors, and inspectors to complete work on schedule Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety and site procedures Properly use and maintain tools, equipment, and materials Document completed work as required and report any additional repair needs identified Perform other maintenance repairs as required within skillset and abilities Required QualificationsProven experience in drywall finishing (residential preferred) Strong understanding of drywall materials, tools, and finishing techniques Ability to consistently produce high-quality finishes with minimal rework Experience working in occupied homes or customer-facing environments and understanding to represent the company professionally at all times Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Reliable attendance and strong time management skills Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites as needed Preferred QualificationsExperience in large-scale residential, multi-family, or military housing environments Ability to texture, skim coat, and perform Level 4-5 finishes Basic knowledge of painting preparation and coordination Familiarity with maintenance ticket or work order systems Other maintenance skills and experience a plus Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods Ability to work in confined spaces as needed
