Job Description Join a multidisciplinary team responsible for the end to end integration of operations, infrastructure, systems engineering, assembly, integration, and test across multiple organizations. The role supports production of Test Missile Kits (TMK) and TMK2, along with the ongoing ordinance program at the Eastern Range. Key Responsibilities: • Operations Planning - Coordinate and execute successful TMK2 production operations through D5LE2. • Documentation Management - Create, maintain, and update all technical documentation related to TMK2 production on the Eastern Range. • Technical Oversight - Provide guidance for assembly, test, and functional verification of TMKs and associated support equipment. • Stakeholder Communication - Attend and present at status briefings for senior leadership, Navy partners, and other stakeholders. • Cost Modeling & Proposals - Contribute to cost models and support proposal development for program initiatives. • Training & Certification - Enroll, train, and certify new personnel into the Eastern Range Ordinance Program. • Cross Functional Collaboration - Work daily with multiple organizations to align TMK2 development/production, system safety, and environmental, safety, and health (ESH) requirements. Basic Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). • Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams and interfacing with internal/external customers. • Willing to work around ordnance • You will need to be a US Citizen, and be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD TOP SECRET clearance, to support this government contract, as well as successfully pass a drug and background check, in order to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Desired skills • Masters degree or higher, • 5+ years of professional experience • Candidate must have the ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules. • Previous FBM experience • Familiar with FBM processing documentation • Knowledge of & experience with FBM TMK • Project, and/or System engineering experience • Familiar with range, system, and workplace safety • Ability to interact with other organizations to ensure requirements are satisfied • Flexibility to pivot rapidly between development and production mindsets • Risk and Opportunity Management experience • Demonstrated exceptional strategic communication skills, both written, verbal, and presentation, to effectively communicate business cases to all levels of peers, suppliers, and stakeholders, as well as program executives, with an ability to persuade and motivate action, • Willing to learn and travel to other FBM facilities to support D5LE2 needs EEOLockheed Martin is an equal opportunity employer. Work Schedule Information Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits. National Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year. This position is incentive plan eligible. Premium Pay StatementPay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $98,300 - $170,315. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
