Progressive Care RN Shift: 4x12s per week. Day/ Night rotation. Every other weekend, every other holiday. 13 week contract. Floating required. Required Certs: BLS, ACLS. Nurse to Patient ratio: 1:4. Number of Beds: 11 to 20 Scrub Color: Eggplant Ancillary Staff: CNA Float Support: All Areas Patient Age Group: Adult; Geriatric; Common Diagnosis/Treatment: This is a general PCU. All types of patients seen. Airway/Respiratory Skills: Breathing Treatments; Chest Tube Set-up/Care; CPAP/BiPap; Trach Care; Cardiac/Circulatory Skills: Blood/Blood Products Administration; Cardioversion / Defribillation; CVP; Open Heart 24-48 Hrs Post-Op; Sheath Removal; Tele Interpretation; Line Management/Equipment Skills: Drains; Epidural Pumps; Feeding Tubes; PCA Pumps; PICC/Central Lines; Port-A-Cath/Vascula Device Access/Care; Syringe Pumps; Traction/Halo/Pin Care; Triple Lumen Catheter; Wound Vac; Medications used on unit: Amiodarone; Cardizem; Heparin; Insulin; Nitroglycerin; Nicardipine; Antiarrhythmics; Medications/stable drips are used on the unit: Amiodarone; Antiarrhythmics; Cardizem; Heparin; Insulin; Lasix; Nicardipine; Nitroglycerin; TPA; Critical Care Skills: Cardiac; Medical; Neuro; PCU; Surgical; Trauma; ShiftWise order 11289566 Shift: 4x12s per week.
