BASIC PURPOSE OF THE JOB The Provider Relations Coordinator is the liaison between Saint Francis and the subcontractors/providers of service to clients. Contracts with identified providers ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Primary liaison with sub-contractors Ensures monthly reporting is complete. Responds to complaints by consumers concerning subcontractors/providers. Reviews client information in subcontractor files and assures compliance standards are met. Completes site visits with subcontractors to ensure that clients receive the best possible services when in an out of home placement. Works closely with Saint Francis legal department to ensure contracts are sent out to subcontractors/providers. Contracts with identified providers. Provides orientation and training sessions with providers concerning policy and procedures. Liaisons between subcontractors/providers and Saint Francis Reintegration programs. Offers troubleshooting, feedback, and communicates all new policies and procedures to subcontractors/providers. . Provides backup administrative support to maintain the high functioning of the program. Implements Saint Francis Ministries policies and follows directives as required. Follows and adheres to all pertinent Saint Francis Ministries Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's), rules, personnel policies and procedures; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms. Reports unusual incidents through appropriate Risk Management, clinical and safety channels. Ensures clients' rights are protected. Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures. Is knowledgeable of and follows all safety procedures MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS Bachelors' degree in Human Services field with three years of child welfare experience. Three years child welfare direct service experience Must be 21 years of age. Must pass a drug screen, MVR, Criminal History and DFPS History Check, Centralized Background Check Unit Texas Health and Human Services Eligibility and any background checks deemed to be necessary. FBI Fingerprint Check Lifting requirement of 30 - 50 lbs. Must have a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record and reliable transportation. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES Mandated reporter. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Familiar with levels of care in the State of Texas. Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills. Must have understandings of genograms, ecograms, and social histories. Must understand child welfare and state system. Must be a team player. Display strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Handles multiple priorities. Independent discretion/decision making within the scope and responsibility of the position. Manages emotions and can make decisions under pressure. Manages stress appropriately. Works alone effectively. Works near others and/or in a distracting environment. Understands and practices Universal Precautions.
