Cyto Tech Responsibilities: Performs routine screening of specimens, reports result sand documents daily workload records. Performs cytological examinations of GYN and non-GYN specimens. Evaluates processed specimens form multiple collection devices according to manufacturers' specifications. Performs quality control assessment, equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Assists with the collection and processing of fine needle aspiration specimens. ASCP Cytology Technician Requirements/Qualifications: CT (ASCP) or eligible within one year of employment.
