Lead Decision Architect (Pega)

Apex Systems has an opportunity open for a Sr Pega Developer. Job Title: Pega Developer/Decision Architect Client: Charter Communications Location: 400 Atlantic Street Stamford, CT 06901 (onsite 5 days a week) Job Details: Apex is hiring for a Sr. Pega Developer to sit onsite in Stamford, CT for a large, telecommunication company. This Sr. Pega Developer will be joining the Credit Services team within Customer Operations. This Sr. Pega Developer will be assisting with the implementation of the Pega Decision Hub for the company to better real-time data & the customer experience. This Sr. Pega Developer will be responsible for the architecture and maintenance of the platform. On a day-to-day basis, this Sr. Pega Developer will be troubleshooting, debugging, upgrading, and maintaining the Pega platform, transforming business requirements into solutions that can be imputed into Pega, architectural discussions to better the platform, designing software applications, and deploying code. There are two phases for all of collections for Charter, and the team manages both. The first phase is to gather data in Oracle and normalize it, and then in the second phase all the data is pushed to Pega, and that's where we manage the data, create exports to send out to customers, etc. This person is going to work alongside Sr Analyst and other analysts in a support function. I.e. an Analyst needs to Develop a technical PEGA connection iSummary At the same time this person will be building Pega applications, i.e. maybe a response system in Pega, and needs to be able explain how the system works, teach the team how to use it, etc. Also, if there's mismatching data, connections go down, etc. they will be the one who will look at the logs, decide if they need to put in a Pega ticket, and if they do put in a Pega ticket, this person needs to be able to talk the Pega language to follow instructions from Pega to make sure they are making the proper corrections. Required Skills: • 6+ years' experience with Pega and Decisioning within Pega (CDH) • Background in software development - worked on Java or other apps and understand SDLC • SQL experience • Very strong time management and task prioritization skills • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into easily definable technical problems for development of solutions Experience within the architecture & development of the platform/software applications Troubleshooting, upgrading, and debugging the platform Plus (Pega Certifications): Pega Decisioning Architect Certification Pega Certified Senior System Architect Required Skills : Basic Qualification : Additional Skills : Background Check : Yes Drug Screen : Yes Notes : Selling points for candidate : Project Verification Info :"The information provided below is for Apex Systems AV use only and is not to be distributed publicly, or to any third party.
