Akkodis is seeking a Sr Mobile Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Owings Mills, MD. Candidates must bring strong mobile automation expertise while designing automated test solutions and validating app functionality against UX and performance standards. Rate Range: $45/hour to $ 53 /hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Sr Mobile Automation Engineer job responsibilities include: Design, develop, and maintain advanced mobile automation frameworks for iOS and Android applications. Validate app functionality, performance, and UX alignment by executing automated and manual test scenarios. Identify, document, and track defects clearly while collaborating with developers and product owners to drive timely resolutions. Evaluate device compatibility, accessibility compliance, localization accuracy, and overall user experience quality. Utilize cloudbased mobile testing platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs to expand coverage and efficiency. Stay current with emerging mobile testing tools, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve testing strategies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field. 10+ years of experience in mobile test automation, including automation frameworks for iOS and Android. Strong expertise in mobile automation tools and platforms, accessibility testing, localization testing, and cloud-based mobile testing solutions such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs. Solid understanding of mobile UX principles and functional/performance testing, with the ability to provide actionable feedback to improve app quality.
