Job Description Develop Individualized Treatment Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and create tailored therapy strategies aimed at achieving their goals. Implement Therapeutic Practices: Use evidence-based interventions to support patients in enhancing their motor skills, cognition, and daily activities. Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Work seamlessly with a diverse team of OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide round-about care. Empower Patients and Families: Train patients and their caregivers on effective therapy techniques to encourage continuous improvement at home. Track Progress and Adjust Treatments: Document clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans as needed so patients remain on track toward recovery. Education Degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution. Support for continuing education or postgraduate certifications is encouraged. Certifications Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) licensure. NBCOT certification is mandatory. Skills A genuine passion for helping others and a drive to enable people in achieving independence. Strong, empathetic communication skills with patients and team members alike. Creative problem-solving abilities to adjust therapeutic plans as necessary.
