Production Engineer

Job Summary The Production Engineer is responsible for optimizing manufacturing processes, improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring product quality and safety standards are met. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, quality, and supply chain teams to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain smooth production flow. Key Responsibilities Monitor daily production activities to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety targets are achieved Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvement Develop and implement process optimization strategies to increase output and reduce waste Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions Collaborate with maintenance teams to minimize equipment downtime Support new product introductions and process validations Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards Prepare production reports and performance metrics for management Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field) preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing best practices Experience with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma preferred Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, ERP systems, MRP systems, etc.) Strong communication and teamwork skills Soft Skills Strong organizational skills Attention to detail Ability to work under pressure Effective cross-functional collaboration Results-driven mindset PRO030 Nesco Resource offers a comprehensive benefits package for our associates, which includes a MEC (Minimum Essential Coverage) plan that encompasses Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, and EAP (Employee Assistance Program) services.
