Join a dedicated healthcare team as a Radiologic Technologist II, specializing in CT imaging during night shifts. This role involves operating radiology equipment under physician supervision to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services. Essential Responsibilities Verify patient identity using two forms of identification and confirm physician orders before procedures. Participate in mandatory meetings, in-services, and continuing education to maintain competency. Maintain departmental competency checklists and utilize resources efficiently. Identify and report issues to support problem-solving and process improvements. Collaborate positively within a team environment and uphold organizational mission, vision, and values. Adhere to HIPAA privacy and security regulations regarding Protected Health Information (PHI). Maintain professional communication with patients, team members, physicians, and external agencies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Education and Experience Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school in Radiologic Technology is required. Demonstrated proficiency in general operating room procedures and at least one specialty area is essential. Licenses and Certifications Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiography and CT. Licensed by the appropriate state board of healing arts. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 days of hire. Preferred Qualifications Two years of clinical experience post-graduation is preferred. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong knowledge of human anatomy and radiological positioning protocols. Commitment to patient safety and radiation protection following ALARA principles. Ability to verify physician orders, explain exam procedures, and obtain informed consent. Leadership skills with experience mentoring staff and students. Completion of continuing education biannually to maintain licensure and registration. Physical Requirements Light work involving occasional exertion up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion up to 10 lbs. Standing or walking may be required 11-25% of the workday.
