Machine Electrician (manufacturing)

ELECTRICIAN (Manufacturing) Chardon, OH Salary to commensurate with experience Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, panels, motors, and industrial equipment. Troubleshoot electrical issues on production machinery, automation systems, and facility infrastructure. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems to reduce machine downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals. Install and maintain PLCs, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control systems. Ensure compliance with NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards. Assist in machine upgrades, system improvements, and new equipment installations. Document maintenance activities, repairs, and system changes. Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to resolve issues quickly. Preferred Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years of industrial or manufacturing electrical experience. Strong knowledge of 480V three-phase systems, controls, and motors. Experience working with PLCs (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.) is a strong plus. Ability to diagnose electrical issues using multimeters, scopes, and diagnostic tools. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work in industrial plant conditions. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Preferred Skills Experience with robotics, automation, or CNC machinery. Familiarity with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. Mechanical aptitude to assist with electromechanical repairs.
