Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (Primary Care) Location: Merced, CA Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time (Expected 30 hours per week) Base Pay: $165,000.00 - $185,000.00 per year We are seeking an experienced Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to be a foundational member of our brand-new clinic opening in Merced, CA. This is a unique opportunity to help build a patient-centered practice and make a lasting impact on the health and well-being of our community. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and diagnostic testing. • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients across all age groups and demographics. • Manage acute illnesses, chronic diseases, and preventive health services. • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care. • Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies. • Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR). • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinic operations as needed. Qualifications and Requirements: • Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited program. • Current Nurse Practitioner certification (FNP or equivalent) and active California RN and NP license. • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner in a primary care (PCP) setting. • Strong clinical skills in handling a variety of health needs, including family medicine, pediatrics, women's health, and geriatrics. • Proficiency with EHR systems and basic computer applications. • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Preferred Skills: • Bilingual abilities (Spanish/English) are a plus, given our diverse patient base. • Experience in community health settings.
